Platforms

Sector-specific promotion platforms

The mission of the four sector-specific promotion platforms is to position Western Switzerland as a centre of excellence in life sciences, (BioAlps), information and communication technologies (Alp ICT), micro- and nanotechnologies (Micronarc) and clean technologies (CleantechAlps).
The platforms aim to create synergies between companies that are based in Western Switzerland and working in one of the four priority areas mentioned above, and service providers in the given field, whether at national or international level. With a view to creating economic value, the four platforms act as intermediaries between businesses, R&D, political decision-makers and investors.
